Thank you to everyone who helped out with the event yesterday. The ‘Supporting the learning experience’ presentations and foyer display attracted over 40 academics from across the University. There was good feedback on the day and one academic emailed me today saying…
‘just wanted to say thank you for the do today. I thought it was an excellent event and only wish I could have stayed and listened to the last couple of sessions’.
Thanks to steering group members Helen Farrall, Lesley Thompson and Pat Hughes and for Pat organising the buffet.
Can I give special thanks to the speakers Lys Ann Reiners, Helen Williams, Rachel Farrow, Andy Hagyard, Alison Sharman, Joss Winn, Paul Stainthorp, Helen Farrall and Julian Beckton.
I would also like to thank Di Walker and Vicki Winchester-Fraser for organising the publishers and suppliers attendance and welcoming attendees on the day.
Thanks to Marie Nicholson for manning our Library stand and to Cheryl Cliffe for helping with publicity before the day. Thanks to Cheryl again and Daren Mansfield for helping on the day and to Alice Flear and Faye Clemininson for organising the display. Thanks to Alice again for helping on the day taking photographs voluntarily outside of her working hours.
I am hoping to get more feedback from academic attendees and hopefully we can use this as a template for future events.
If you have any feedback or comments please let me know.
