Dzień dobry, bibliotekarze

with one comment

Four or five of us in the Library at Brayford are starting to learn Polish. We’re attending a 10-week ‘Polish Language & Culture Taster Programme‘, organised by staff learning & development.

Does anyone have any useful links for learning the language, like this one? Now repeat after me: dziękuję!

  1. A couple of ‘offline’ suggestions from people:

An ex-UL student and a friend of mine suggested this page of basic Polish phrases:

    http://www.skwierzyna.net/polishphrases.htm

And Paulina B. from C.E.R.D. put forward a dictionary site:

    http://www.ling.pl/

“This is useful because you have all “funny” letters there like ś, ć, ł, ą etc.”
