Fines statements sent today
As per the dates agreed at our TL meeting we have today run the first lot of fines statements for 2008/2009, covering those accrued since the final run of 2007/2008 last April. There are 224 in total, broken down as follows:
- University Library – 206
- Hull – 10
- Riseholme – 6
- Holbeach – 2
To allow for postage time, we will suspend unpaid accounts two weeks on Friday (Friday 10th October.)

Library Fines Statement Dates 08/09
Library Team Leaders have agreed the dates for the 08/09 schedule of fines statements. We chose these dates to coincide as far as possible with the dates students receive their loan payments.
The dates are
24th September, 7th January and 15th April (on the last one we will also run the statements for the final year students, to give them time to pay their debts before they graduate.)
